About the Boise Zen Center
The Boise Zen Center is a Soto Zen community in the lineage of Dainin Katagiri Roshi; it was established in October, 2017. We are committed to zazen, the Buddha's teachings and opening the doors to explore our Chinese ancestors, koan introspection, movement and conversation.
Jisen Coghlan is exploring new ways to teach from years of ‘classical’ training and discovering how her background in dance, music, and the Alexander Technique can inform Zen practice.
The Boise Zen Center is supported by the generosity of those who feel that what is being offered is beneficial. All donations are deeply appreciated and go towards supporting all events and more. BZC is incorporated in Idaho as a non-profit charitable organization; all donations are tax deductible.
